Hi swappers!

I love the idea of sharing our scraps! Let's (sort of) follow Nik the Booksmith's tutorial which can be found HERE

Instead of the fussy poking holes and threading twine through, feel free to glue, staple or sew your scrap samplers together. The little booklets look cute with the twine strung through them but it makes me antsy just watching her poke the twine through with an awl.

There's a sheet available on the 'show more' area of the tutorial to print out labels if you like--not a requirement.

You'll have 2 partners and be creating a sampler for each partner containing at least 10 sheets (more if you like) of samples Remember that each sample needn't be full size; in fact if you use half-size sheets, you can include more different papers/fabrics!

The cover of each booklet should be approximately 4"x6". Try to use interesting papers (and fabrics too, if you like) from your scrap pile.

1 scrap sampler x 2 partners = 2 4"x6" scrap samplers TOTAL

Won't it be fun to get someone else's scraps?

I noticed at the end of the tutorial she said if we use up our scraps then we can buy more papers. As if us paper crafters really need more paper, eh? LOL ;)
