ETHP: 10 step ATC challenge #4

You will make your partner 1 standard ATC (2.5"x3.5") by following the 10 steps below. For this series of swaps you will need to have the specific TH product which is in bold text so be sure you have them or can get them before sigining up.

Step 1: Grab any white or light colored ATC blank.

Step 2: Use a blending tool and any light or medium color distress ink to completely cover the ATC blank.

Step 3: Completely cover the card in clear embossing powder and then remove the excess.

Step 4: Carefully hold the ATC by the edges over a trash can and flick the back of the card so that some of the powder comes off into the trash can. Repeat the flicking as much as you wish, at least 6-7 firm flicks in different areas should do the trick.

Step 5: Heat set the entire ATC to melt the powder.

Step 6: Use a blending tool and rusty hinge distress or distress oxide ink to cover the card again. The ink should fill in the open areas and start to give a pitted/rusted look.

Step 7: Add any Tim Holtz Ideaology embellishment(s) that coordinate with your rusted looking ATC.

Step 8: Use black soot or any dark colored distress ink or distress oxide ink around the edges of your ATC to give it a border.

Step 9a: Add detail to your embellishment or background to accent your work.

Step 10: Mount your ATC on something sturdy like 140lb watercolor paper or use a couple layers of thin cardstock. On the back of the ATC write at least the title, your username and date.
