Description:

If I haven't babbled at you about the Write On Challenge yet, you can find details HERE I look forward to April for the Write On Challenge more than I ever did Christmas or my birthday as a kid - or an adult! So, let's get started! :)

The basic goal to the Write On Challenge is to write 30 letters in 30 days. You MAY buy a Write On kit, but it's not necessary for any of these swaps. Letters do not need to be handwritten, and you don't necessarily need to MAIL the letters. You can write a letter to your future self, etc, and keep it. So id you don't have 30 pen pals or friends, it's ok, you can still participate. :)

For this International swap, you will have 2 partners, and will write them each a letter to a prompt of your choosing. (prompts below) This does NOT need to be an introduction letter, and you are NOT required to reply - but you DO need to rate your partner when you receive your letter. If you feel a connection and would like to continue exchanging letters, you should contact your partner to set that up. But this is NOT a pen pal swap.

You can use the same prompt for each letter, or use a different one for each. It's up to you. Letters may be typed or handwritten, and stationery is optional. I don't want to put restrictions like that, and length of the letter is up to you as well. If you would like to use a note card, that is fine, but this is NOT a post card swap.

Last day to sign up will be April 15th, and partners will be assigned April 30th

Letter Prompts to choose from: (This letter will be sent to your partner. If the letter prompt is addressed to a neighbor, etc, just pretend.)

*Tell your partner about a gift you've received, who it was from, and how you've used it. Alternate - write that letter as if to the giver, or send them a copy of the letter.

*Send a copy of an old photograph, something that you remember, and tell your partner who is in the photograph, what the event was. Reminisce a bit about the people, location, event ... Copy can be a photocopy, but try to make it clear enough that your partner will be able to see it.

*Write a letter to your partner describing how you'd spend your perfect day if money was no object. Who would you spend the day with, where would you go, what would you do?

*Tell your partner about a favorite teacher or professor and tell them what you remember about their class, and why they made an impact on you. - Consider sending a copy to that teacher to let them know that you're thinking about them and how they influenced you.

Recap - International swap. Two partners. One letter - handwritten or typed - to your partner using one of the prompts listed above. Length and stationery is your choosing. Send on time, rate your partner.
