Description:

Thanks to @knitterofhats for the idea and allowing me to do a variation of her swap!

This will be a month-long project. I'm interested in learning Spanish using an online app. I plan to spend at least 20 minutes a day towards my goal. During the month of July, participants will plan to practice a foreign language every day. There are several free apps available, including DuoLingo (which CNet ranked best), but any method you use is fine.

At the end of the month, you will send your partner a notecard or letter in which you share your experience for the month. Consider writing about the following: What is your motivation for learning -travel, work, or something else? Were you able to meet your initial goal commitment? How confident do you feel with what you've learned? Have you had a chance to use your new language skills with actual native speakers?

You must be a rated swapper to join. Only RATED swappers this time. I’ll be reviewing profiles before assigning partners and reserve the right to limit participation to make this a safe and successful swap. I will angel if needed.

Hoping that some of you who are watching will join in!

I just checked out the website an signed up. It is awesome. I understand quite a bit of Spanish, and even work in a Spanish church. I have taken Spanish in school, and can read a write a lot, but can not speak it well.
