Description:
If you totally keep your specific pal in MIND when you are writing your intro letter and making it TO that specific person; this is for you. If you like to receive a letter that is definitely to YOU and YOU alone; this is for you. If you like to have a TWO WAY conversation via letters; this is for you. If you tend to write at least two pages, both sides; this is for you. HOWEVER...... If you are interested in getting more pals to hit a certain # of pals, pals from specific states, or any other methodology that's not specific to a pal; this is NOT for you. If you generally write letters without reading the profiles, or just skim over them; this is NOT for you. If you write a letter and you can't tell whom it's to based on what it says within the letter content; this is not for you. If you write a one page letter, or less; this is not for you. This is for potential pals who are willing to put in the effort to get to know their partner vs. just writing about what's going on in their life and mailing it out. Rating based on whether it was obvious that your partner actually read your profile (obvious as in; they commented on multiple topics). You must have a well filled out profile or will be banned from this swap.

Just a note: A rating requirement of 4.00 means that a swapper with 50% 3-ratings could join this swap. You should think about changing your rating requirement at least to 4.95 For more information see this thread http://www.swap-bot.com/forums/topic/127919

For swaps that send ITEMS..it's a bigger risk...so I understand why those have higher rating requirements. However, for pen pal/letter swaps, I'm going to disagree. I think more people should have some grace on here, especially since SOME MAY have been rated harshly. (All who have been rated so far in this swap have 5's anyway, so this is irrelevant at this point)

Well @recycleit I agree with noname13. This is NOT irrelevant because flakers or unreliable swappers tend to join the swap last minute, so you wont see them now, but pay attention of the people who joined your swap, before assigning partners. I had a lot of swaps not sent to me recently, and it was not even for ITEMS swaps... it's sad bu flakers do like to receive long letters and not reply or send anything in return....

I agree. No swap should be a 4.00. There’s no reason to allow someone in with that bad of a rating.
