Sounds fun. I'm a swapbot newbie, but I have been paper crafting for over 20 years. I have completed all of my swaps on time. May I join please? I love making envelopes and decorating them as well loading them with fun emphemera. I have been wanting to do a swap like this. I promise to complete the swap and that my partners will not be disappointed. I do have a few clarifying questions...one, should the envelopes be placed inside a larger mailer envelope so that the receiver can reuse the two envelopes if they wish too...like in a junk journal or something? Or should the envelopes be mailed separately with separate postage and maybe spaced in mailing days so that the receiver has two separate surprises in one week? Also, can emphemera be a mix of store bought and quality homemade pieces or should it all be store bought and in packaging? Okay. I just wanted to make sure I have all the details so I can send the happy mail correctly. Thank you in advance for the information, even if you deem that I have to wait till I complete x amount of swaps first.

Hi Elenamarie, I would be happy to have you join this swap, you sound so enthusiastic! Yes it should be TWO separate mailings and it can be dropped in the mail at the same time. You can include whatever you like - I like not knowing what it's going to be :)) I love surprises - even if it's something I don't like its the surprise that makes me happy!

Awesome! Thank you so much!

I once sent a letter to a pen pal in two parts because it was cheaper to send to 2-oz letters less than 1/4" than to pay package rate which is what my PO does if it's more than 1/4". Anyway, I dropped them in the same mailbox at the same time. She got them more than a week apart! (and of course, part 2 got there first).

How funny! Mailed on same day...recieved on different days. The post office makes things interesting sometimes...I hate when mail gets lost though ..I once found mail in my front yard! What a tough job being a mail carrier would be. Thank for sharing your pen pal story jen.
