Description:
Let's stitch one (1) small embroidery work to one (1) partner. Theme is FLOWERS The finished product should measure no less than 5cm x 5cm (1.97 in x 1.97 in). The pattern doesn't need to be from side to side, the design is up to you, as is the medium. Think of this as an artwork. The end product does not need to be wearable, or usable. Though, if you use materials that aren't washable, please inform your partner. No previous skills are needed. If this swap has already been done by someone else, note, I do not wish to offend anyone.

Should we mount the embroidery in some way, or do we just stitch it and send the piece of fabric for our partner to frame or display as they choose?

If you have the skills to mount the piece, so that all the stitches in the back are not visible, or vulnerable — that's always better.
