Number of swap partners:1
Description:

Sometimes, it's easier to tell others why you are grateful for someone than telling that person directly. So this is practice to help you flesh out your thoughts before telling someone why you are thankful for them.

WHAT YOU'RE SENDING

One blank Thank You card and envelope. One letter describing who you are thankful for and why. Include a specific memory you have of the person. If you wish, you can add how you met this person.

TIMELINE

This swap has a quick turnabout. Signup deadline is March 14 and then the notecard has to be mailed out March 17. That's just four days to complete the swap. Each person gets one partner.

This is best if you're looking to do a quick weekend swap. Please double check your work load when you sign up.

NEWBIES

While I understand the need to maintain the dignity of a swap and assure participants no one will flake, it's important to give people a chance to prove themselves.

Newbies, to participate, you must have at least fifteen lines on your profile. I will check before assigning partners.Thank you.

RATING

To receive a 5 rating, you are sending:

  • one letter describing who you are grateful for and why
  • one blank Thank You card and envelope

(Once you receive your items, I'm hoping you will write a Thank You card to the person you were talking about but that is up to you to do on your own and is not a directive of this swap. Just a super obvious elbow nudge. Hehe.)

REMINDERS

  • Swap for the love of swapping, not ratings, hearts, or comments. If you wish to send extras, that is up to your discretion.
  • Postal systems are like people. Some will be fast and some will be slow. Others are on time. If you haven't received your mail yet, send a message to the sender before losing your patience and rating a 1.
  • If you have a 1 rating on your profile, please have an explanation on your profile or you can write something in the comments below. If you prefer privacy, send me a message.
  • If there's anything else, send me a message.

Thank you kindly.
