Guess who got some AMAZING NEW TEAS from ENGLAND??? THIS GIRL!!!!!!!!! And I am dying to swap some with other high-end-tea afficionados. For this swap, you get to send 1 partner 2 bags or properly sealed sachets of high-end tea. Package it in a way that is SPECIAL to open. I am 100% with this being a small swap or even just a 1-on-1 private swap. So don't be alarmed by the low numbers! It will be worth it!! It should be special and unique tea- not an old tea bag you got in a swap and don't want to drink, or a basic tea you can get from the local grocery store. YES! send loose leaf tea if you can package it correctly and send it with disposable tea bags (precisely for loose leaf). It needs to be sealed in a plastic bag, as airtight as possible. The reason for this is 1) not everyone may have a metal tea infuser, and then making the loose leaf tea would be problematic for them. We don't want that. We just want a great high-end tea experience for all swappers. 2) if it isn't in an air tight bag, it will lose flavor while it travels in the mail... ewe. Don't want that. A double zip lock with the air pushed out should work fine. Please include labels of the tea is, etc. This may be a Type 2 swap or a Type 3 depending on weight, so I am setting it as a Type 3 to be safe. Some brand ideas (but not limited to): Tea Forte Fortnam & Mason Mariage Frères Intl Teapigs (Basically any quality tea in the $15 or more category per 15-20 count box. Though I hesitate to put a dollar amount out there because I have paid a pretty penny for some pretty crappy tea in my day! LoL!) Must have a 4.99 rating or better, min of 10 completed type 2/3 swaps, and must have checked SB the day prior to the swap to participate in this swap. This USUALLY helps keep out the flakers... usually... I will angel if necessary. |
