Beginners Thread Crochet Mini-Doily Swap

Crochet one mini-doily (4" - 6") for one partner. Sender’s choice pattern. Use bedspread weight (#10) or finer thread. Please use a neutral color (like white or ecru) unless you okay it with your partner. You can Google “free patterns thread crochet doilies” for ideas. This swap is INTERNATIONAL. Postage shouldn’t be exorbitant since this is a small, lightweight, flat item.

Please include some info about the process of creating your doily - (1) brand/weight of thread, (2) from a book/website/original pattern, (3) method of blocking and type/brand of stiffener ( more info below about blocking and stiffening).

Experienced crocheters also welcome, of course.
