Private swap round # 1 5-17-20 thru 6-30-20 --you will have 2 partners --send each partner (5) five-inch charms (5"X5") senders choice --all fabric will be 100% cotton quilting fabric The trick to cutting charms is to measure accurately with a clear plastic ruler, be steady when you cut with your rotary cutter and do your best not to undercut so that the charms don't end up smaller than required for the swap. After you are done cutting, re-measure and press each charm before mailing. Summary: this round you will cut a total of TEN 5"X5" charms dividing them into 2 stacks of 5 each and send one stack to each of your 2 partners. I rarely wash my quilting fabric before using it, but I do try to avoid household smells (food, strong perfumes, pets, etc.) and dirt. The swap-bot golden rule is to always send items you would be happy to receive. Future rounds: Round #2 we will make 9 patch quilt blocks using 5-inch fabric charms from our stash. swap-on |
