Okay how about this: Let's eat our way through the rainbow. You will send your partners a recipe for each color of the rainbow. By colors I mean the color of the dish when it is served. For example chocolate cake is brown. Here are the colors: Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Indigo-NAW let's do white instead Violet (any shade of purple is okay) Whatever color you are using should be the primary color of the dish. If there are other colors mixed in that's okay but mainly it should be the color you are using. Please be sure to let your partner know what recipe is for what color. Newbies welcome with a filled out profile. No no-senders. If you have recent no-sends please pm me before joining. any questions please pm me. Happy swapping.

Quick question. Some blue food can look really gross, can we use blue cheese or blue corn chips? If not, no problem I'll try to think of something else. :)

Not to be stupid about this, but just to confirm that the colors are: Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, White and Violet/Purple. So that would be seven recipes for each partner?

To HoneyBunny:in keeping with the spirit of the swap the food should actually be blue in color.

I would love to join this - but I'm having trouble thinking of anything I have EVER served that was blue unless you simply count icing on cookies or cakes

Blue = blueberry muffins/pancakes (mash them a bit in the batter to turn the batter blue), a jello salad using their Berry Blue jello, something with Blue Potatoes (if you have a great supermarket near you!), something with blue corn tortilla chips....just a few thoughts...

Guess I just won't get to play, as no one will answer my question about HOW the recipes are to be sent. This is truly sad, as I really liked this one and was looking forward to the challenge!
