CPG Summer Painted Pennies - US only

Break out your itty bitty paintbrushes (and possibly a magnifying glass, lol!)

1 partner, 1 penny that has been handpainted by you! Please paint a summer theme on your penny.

Take any US penny and paint one side of it.

You can paint the front side or the back side, but you only need to paint one side

You can doctor up what is already stamped on the penny or you can treat the penny as a blank canvas and paint your own design, it's totally up to you! Summer theme or colors.

Wrap or protect your penny with a layer of cardstock or think cardboard so it it doesn't get caught in the mail machine. But this should mail for 1 US First Class stamp, it does not need extra postage unless you put a lot of cardboard in the envie!

Mail it to your partner with a little note about how you found this project to be - was this Fun? Annoying? Challenging? Would you do it again? And what are you gonna do with your painted penny?

I painted one side with white acrylic and then painted over it. I have not sealed mine but i might in the future!
