Art History 101 - Van Gogh

For this swap you will be sharing your favorite piece by Vincent van Gogh with your partner. On at least one sheet of paper, write a letter about your favorite Van Gogh painting, including some information such as the year it was painted, where he painted it/where he was living, what was going on in the artist's life at that time, what the painting represents (if anything). It will require a little bit of research on your part, and hopefully we all learn something fun and new in the process. Try to include a picture of your favorite painting either in the letter or printed out separately for your partner.

Include a goodie for your partner as well. It doesn't have to be explicitly van Gogh related, but try to relate it to the painting you like in some way. It could be an ATC, washi tape, stickers, etc - sender's choice but just me mindful of your partner's dislikes.
