What would be extras? another envelope?????

CarlyJo 02/ 6/2009 #

i believe she would mean more then one ounce would be considered extra.

Chanel 02/ 6/2009 #

hearts arent' meant to be given just because you receive extras

AncientPlanter 02/ 6/2009 #

I always give hearts, no matter what, unless the swap was mailed late.

bonbon 02/ 6/2009 #

I do too AncientPlanter. I wonder what the people that dont want to give hearts feel when they dont get one ?

Hi, I never said I don't want to give hearts. I give them out A LOT. but only because I want to, not because the host says I have to. And to see how a lot of others feel you can check out this most recent discussion of this on the forums--

I think hosts tell you what earns a heart to guide those who really just don't have a clue. I don't think it's considered the rule of thumb for the swap, just a guideline...

Hearts are FREE!!!!! If you received your swap and you were pleased with it-what is the harm in giving a heart? If I receive a swap that mailed quickly (and definitely before the send by date) and if there is more in the package than I was expecting-you're getting a heart from me! It costs me nothing! Whether or not I like the items inside the package. I look at the heart of the person sending. If that person went above and beyond, she's getting a heart! It's a way to say not just thank you, but thank you very much! I like to tell people thank you very much! It's just a nice thing to do. Why is there so much negative discusson about this silly little thing? BTW-this hostess didn't say you HAVE to, she asked you to by saying Please!

Heats are free- why are people so stingy with them??? Don't be so cheap with the hearts!

neauxla, I haven't received my envies for this swap yet, but I just gave you a star. I wanted to say thank you for hosting these regular scrap swaps. I have gotten so many beautiful pieces (and, knock on wood, have gotten every envelope I was expecting) and have been able to use many of them in bookmarks for other swaps. Keep them coming!
