Description:

So I saw someone post a swap like this lately and I was so excited to join. But when I signed on this morning the swap is gone!! Really sad. So I decided to try and see if anyone was willing to try this again. I'm sorry to say that I can't remember who the original person was that posted the swap.

Requirements:

  1. Choose a smaller sized journal/pocket journal. NOT a composition book. This is too huge and will cost too much to mail back and forth. Try to stay around 5 x 7 or as close to that as you can. Around 30 pages.

  2. Decorate the cover to your choosing. On the inside cover write:

Swap-bot ID and your address.

  1. On the first page, the name of the swap in Title format:

Traveling Cookbook Journal

  1. At the bottom of the page place any food allergies that you may have as a clue to future swap partners. Perhaps they will be kind to not include any recipes with your allergies.

  2. Mail your journal to your first partner.

  3. When you receive a journal from your partner, share 2 recipes that you've actually made before and that your friends and family love and make sure you add your swap-bot name to the recipes.

  4. Sign Up for future swaps so that you can keep the journals moving. :)

Optional:

Feel free to decorate the journal pages that you add recipes to. You can illustrate the recipes if you want or add stickers, washi tape or what have you. Make this something that will make journal owner happy.

What about a small photo album? 4x6 recipe cards will fit in it and it has around 30 spaces I think.

Watching.....

My only concern is the cost of shipping. Do you think it would be the same as a flat notebook?
