Cut n Paste Postcard

International. Please only sign up if your postal service is running well and delivery can be expected to take no more than about 20 days (both sending and receiving). Currently, postal service, for me is between 7 and 15 days--which includes domestic, USA and overseas.

Quick turnaround. Signup by Tuesday, in the mail by Friday.

Instructions:

Look through any magazines, catalogs, etc and find a picture that will fit on a postcard.

This is not a collage, it's one picture that you find that's about the size of a postcard.

Cut-n-paste the picture onto a piece of cardboard, the inner 4x6" cardboard you cut out to make the frame guide. or old cereal boxes, or heavy cardstock.

I like to cut out a 4x6' hole in a piece of larger cardboard, then use the frame as a guide, framing the magazine image to see if it's suitable.

You will be assigned one partner. Send the postcard with a short note on the back. I like to write where I got the cut-out picture from (as well as a short greeting).

Include your swap-bot ID and name of the swap on the postcard.

Nudge

I send out nudge 'please rate' messages around the one month mark after everyone has mailed their cards. It's not a job I enjoy doing so please rate quickly. If I've had to nudge a member in previous swaps I've hosted I may "ban" for this swap.

If you haven't received a postcard around the one-month mark, let your partner know and let me know.

No blank comments

When rating please comment on the card received. Let's make our partners feel like their postcard matters. Members who have left blank comments in previous swaps I've hosted may be "banned" from this swap.

Finished

I check to see that everyone is rated and will add a "Finished" stamp to the Discussion section when all postcards are sent, received and rated.

No 1's or 3's in the last few months. Older 1s and 3s will be examined and evaluated.

Must be an active swap-bot member for more than 6 months with at least 10 type 2s and 3s.
