VC: Postcard with a Vintage Sewing Theme

I'm all excited about handmade postcards...something new (to me) and therefore very exciting! Postcards are 4x6 and have a horizontal (or "standard") postcard orientation, and the base should be something firm-ish yet flexible (I've been using old manila file folders). The backs should be covered with pretty paper and maybe a small element or two, in addition to your name and swap information. For this postcard, I have in mind a vintage sewing theme...pretty ladies at vintage sewing machines, girls or ladies hand-sewing garments or household items, spools of thread, scissors, vintage thread advertisements...really anything that might apply to this theme. These postcards aren't meant for mailing, really...the USPS machinery can be cruel to little works of art! So put it into an envelope and send it off to your swap partner with a happy heart!
