Description:

Hello again, friends! This swap is for US & Territories.

Each person will create one handmade, Women's History postcard and mail it to one partner. This is a type-3 swap!

"handmade" can mean any type of crafting, but please put some time into it and make sure it is something you can be proud of and would be happy to receive. If you are not a crafter but still want to participate, you may purchase a handmade card instead of making one yourself, but make sure that it is obviously hand-crafted rather than mass-produced.

Because some swappers may want to create their postcards before partners are assigned, this will be Sender's Choice. The swapping deadline will also be a bit longer to allow for crafting time.

Note that postcards that are larger than 6" x 4.25" will require extra postage, as will cards that are thicker than 0.16" and that cannot be machine-sorted. Check postage requirements here if you are unsure.

"Women's History" is also loosely defined here--it can be artwork or collage done in the purple, white and gold colors of the U.S. Women's Suffrage movement, a photograph of significant woman from history or women's rights event, a quote from a significant female historical figure or about women's rights that means something to you, etc. Protect the postcard by covering the front (the side you don't write on/stamp) with clear packing tape.

Feel free to include an explanation of the connection to Women's History Month on the back of the card if it's not totally obvious; make sure to recommend a book about a woman of note (fiction or nonfiction), and include the username/name of swap.

I will angel as needed; please send any questions/suggestions to me via DM. Thank you and Happy Reading!
