Birthday & Get Well Wishes for Grayson

Grayson is my my 29 year old son who is developmentally delayed due to a rare chromosome disorder called "Ring 4". More information on this disorder can be found HERE

He is turning 30 this year & just broke his collar bone falling down a couple of stairs, so he would love to receive your Birthday & Get Well wishes. He LOVES receiving mail & get so excited just seeing his name on the envelope, much less the card itself. LOL!

He hangs his cards up & decorates his bedroom (he calls it his apartment) door with them. He keeps them up for a long time b/c he likes them so much. When he is ready to take them down & replace it with something new I punch a hole in them & hang them on binder rings so he can go back & look at them any time he likes.

Most of my family & in laws are either jerks, or not interested in having a relationship with Grayson. It’s a shame for them too because they are the ones missing out on what a wonderful person Grayson is & all the love he has to share.

So...for this swap you will send Grayson a Birthday card & your partner an Un-birthday card. Since Un-Birthday cards are not typically available in stores, you can make your own or modify a regular birthday card to make it an Un-Birthday card. You can do this by simply writing "un" in front of the word Birthday on your card.

Grayson is pretty easy to please. I have listed several "likes" in the comment section below. Please know that he will enjoy your card just as much even if does not contain any extras.

• Collar bone - Grayson tripped on the leg of his pajama pants when he was going up the stairs. He fell over & down 3 or 4 steps. He has to wear a sling for at least 6 weeks. He is very sore & a little depressed. He is having a hard time b/c it hurts to move his right (dominant hand.)
