YTPC: Journal Cards from Index Cards

Hi swappers!

Let's follow along with Pam in THIS tutorial to create 3 journal cards for our partners.

Pam uses 3x5 index cards as her base; you may do the same or use any sturdy 3x5 paper as your base.

I love many of Pam's ideas but, as evidenced by her gelato butterfly in the video, the execution is often less than ideal. That said, the ones you mail to your partner should look nicer than that one;+)

Your 3 index journal cards should be in the following format:

• 1 using watercolors or acrylic paint

• 1 using a stencil

• 1 with a ruffle (fabric or paper) somewhere on the card

Feel free to add extra stamped images, collage images, paper cut-outs, etc. to the cards as well.

Be creative and don't be a slave to the tutorial. Grab the idea and run with it!

I have the send-by date listed at the end of July because I'll be in California for most of that month and have limited craft supplies to work with so there's LOTS of time to create. Hope you'll join me!
