😊 Make Me Smile #2

👋🏼 Hello everyone,

This is the 2nd swap in the series. I hope you enjoy like I did. You’ll be sending 2 wax seals, 1 dried flower / botanical and some goodies.

⚜️ Please send 2 different seals with one plain colour and the other, mixed colours. I know that there are different sizes of wax stamps. Please be generous...I’d say, use 4 wax beads for standard sized stamps and use 2-3 beads for smaller sized stamps. By then, you’ll produce good impressions of seals.

🥀 The dried flower itself (excluding the stem) should measure at least 10 x 10 cm (4 x 4 inches). You can also send a dried leaf. Some dried leaves have beautiful earthy colours when dried. But make sure you dry by pressing it under a heavy book, inside a big tissue paper (to absorb its moist) for at least a week - thus the sign up deadline on 20th of May. It should give you enough time to dry it first. Then you’ll put the dried botanical inside a card & cello tape the stem to make it still & for extra protection. Don’t put it together with the seals as it might get damaged when crushed.

📄 In the mail, you’ll also add some goodies. For examples, stickers, craft papers, a bookmark, die cuts, used postage stamps, postcards, a tag, a set of washi samples (min. 30cm long each), lace samples (min. 30cm long).

Please remember to write your ID, date & swap name so your partner can easily rate you. You’re welcome to write a bit about where / when you obtained the botanical, only if you would. Your mail should weigh 50grams minimum.

It’s always nice to try to prepare a happymail according to your partner’s profile although it’s not a must. A heart is at your discretion. Remember that the way you present / wrap this little happymail is all up to your creativity. The sky is the limit! This happymail is to make someone SMILE. 😊
