Calling all Tolkien fans for Tolkien Week!

Fans have a week-long celebration of J.R.R. Tolkien and all things Middle-earth including The Silmarillion, The Hobbit, and The Lord of the Rings series of novels. Tolkien Week is always celebrated during the calendar week that contains Hobbit Day (September 22).

Hobbit Day is a name used for September 22 in reference to its being the birthday of the hobbits Bilbo and Frodo Baggins

Things to discuss/write about:

• when was the first time you read Tolkien?

• favorite character & why

• how many times have you read the books?

• did you watch the movies first and/or read the books first?
