Description:

I love making flower ATCs and I know others do too. With Spring not far away, followed by the summer, let's go mad and have an alphabet flower bonanza. Two swaps...this one for wild flowers, and another, (see separate listing) for garden or cultivated flowers. Instead of doing one letter at a time, we'll do four, and incorporate the other two as and when appropriate, so that the swaps only span six or seven months. There will only be one partner, and a month to work on each swap.

So, this swap is for WILD FLOWERS (including flowers from trees and shrubs, like wild fruit trees, hawthorn etc)

You will have 1 (one ) partner and make them 4 (four) ATCs, one each for flowers beginning with A,B,C and D. You can use any medium, and please only limited use of stickers, (though not prohibited). Try and be creative and produce a set of cards your partner will cherish.

This swap is INTERNATIONAL. It is open to those with a rating above 4.8 , but because of the work involved in making four ATC's, it will NOT be open to NEWBIES. Sorry, but 4 cards to one person is quite a commitment. You will have a month to produce your cards and get them sent off after partners are assigned. Read your partner's profile and if they have a particular favourite flower which serendipitously begins with A, B, C or D...you could make their day by using it for one of your cards. Have fun! :)

May I suggest the use of some sort of template, to give the entire set some continuity? Even just using the same (border)[http://images.google.ca/images?q=border&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-US:official&client=firefox-a&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&hl=en&tab=wi] around each card would go a long way.

Hi Blagh. Sorry I missed your comment. I did think about it and may do it in the future, but the thing is it then reduces the individuality of the participants, which is, after all, why most of us do it. I know what you mean, and I'll think about it again for a future series. Thanks for the input :)
