Do you have a Halloween art journal or are you in the process of making one? Tassels make a beautiful addition to journal covers! Let’s make a Halloween Journal Tassel for our partner’s journal.

When you sign up, please post in the comments below what aesthetic and colors you like so your partner has some creative inspiration from you. You may want a “creepy”, “cute”, “classic” or other Halloween aesthetic. Your color preferences may be traditional black and orange, bright colors such as purple and green added in, or dark/muted colors such as black, grey, grungy green, etc.

For this swap please make a tassel according to your partner’s “likes” that is 5 to 9 inches in length and full bodied using some or all of the following items: Ribbon, lace, and/or fabric strips, thread, trim, twine, yarn, tulle, chain, beads, charms, miniature bells, or feathers. The tassel will also need a way to be attached such as a small hoop that opens and closes, jump rings with a clasp, bulb pins or a large paperclip. I’m providing links to some tutorials for ideas.
