USA only swap

--I don't like having to say this, but I am seeing a lot of 3s and 1s going out lately when they shouldn't be. If you check the side panel - View participant, you can see when your partner says they sent things.-- From there add 8 weeks...YES, 8 weeks. The USPS has admitted to slowing down flat rate mail and upping the costs of packages. If after 8 weeks you you still haven't received anything from your partner you are more then justified in asking your partner for a resend; if that falls through for some reason, please mark the swap a 1 with note that you will rerate if you receive something. --

I can't believe I am having to add this. If I find people are rating "ones" unfairly, 3 months after the swap was sent, are noncommunicative, etc. You will no longer be welcome in my swaps.

There has been a new development that if you go and see that your partner is already MIA or just non-responsive/inactive you can message me and let me know. Because in this situation it's two fold - I don't want them in future swaps! Because that just jips you of goodies, and it lets me know to put a 6 month limit on new people and / or check on new people for responsiveness before allowing them to be in my swaps. Thank you.

So for this swap, you will have 5 partners.

Send each partner at least 4 different washi tape samples; please make sure they're wrapped around a playing card or plastic. Cardboard isn't a good thing to wrap your samples around.

4 Samples means cm thick ones, tiny width ones count as 1/2 of 1 toward your 4. A thick sample sadly won't count for 2. -- I know that's a little strange but you are trying to give your partner a good selection of washi tape samples.

The sample should go around the playing card at least 4x (gives about 6 inches of sample. Playing card is 2 inches. Around 4x is 8 inches (but depends on where you start the tape).

Extra goodies are at your discretion.

-- Remember the writing prompt; using a notecard will protect the washi tape too. If need be even more sure use some packing tape around the sides and bottom (not the top) you want to leave a way to get into the Happy Mail --

Please remember to put the name of the swap somewhere on the card, piece of paper or even the envelope.

Unrated newbies are welcome with a profile filled out and not just one or two lines.

I do check profiles before partners are assigned.

A filled profile will give an idea of your likes and dislikes; so people can get an idea of what you would enjoy receiving.

Plus it allows me as a swap coordinator the ability to see if you are active, on-time, making up swaps when life happens, and are invested in making this an amazing exchange of Happy Mail.

• tiny bits of lace ribbon
