Stationery Sets

Stationery Sets

So for this swap, you will have 3 partners.

Send each partner at least 2 different good condition Stationery Sets.

No themes for this one, just gather up 2 unused different, in good shape Stationery Sets (2 sheets and 1 envelope is a set / means you need 4 sheets and 2 envelopes) for each of your partners (6 sets total needed).

One extra as well; whether that is stickers, another stationery set, washi tape etc. Is at your discretion.

Sets come in a variety of sizes 5.5 x 8 being the most popular, if you can avoid folding the sheets that would be wonderful.

If you can't, please only fold them once to fit in the same design envelope.

Please remember to put the name of the swap somewhere on an inserted piece of paper or even the envelope.

📝Mandatory

Writing Prompt:
💬

📝Optional Writing Prompts:

💬 What is something you are really looking forward to in the next 6 months?

💬 What is one thing you wish people would ask you about? What would you tell them?

💬 What is one of your guilty pleasures?

💬 What part of the day or night is your favorite? Why?

💬 Write about a time that you learned an important lesson.

Unrated newbies are welcome with a profile filled out and not just one or two lines.

I do check profiles before partners are assigned.

A filled profile will give an idea of your likes and dislikes; so people can get an idea of what you would enjoy receiving.

Plus it allows me as a swap coordinator the ability to see if you are active, on-time, making up swaps when life happens, and are invested in making this an amazing exchange of Happy Mail.

Other goodies you could send!

Some examples of things to send but not limited to:

  • Handmade items are welcome.

  • Unused Postage Stamps

  • Note cards

  • Postcards

  • Sticker sheets

  • Bookmarks

  • Washi Tape -- yes -- that is the point of this swap.

  • Stationery Set (2 sheets and 1 envelope)

  • Envelopes (mailing and sticker holders)

  • Embellishments

  • Profile based item

Things not to send:

Mind you if you read the profile and they would love to receive these items then please do send them. -

  • random scraps of paper

  • tiny bits of lace ribbon

  • any torn bits

  • jagged edges

  • random magazine images/pages

Any item but make sure it is something you would like to receive!

If you have any questions don't be afraid to message me.

Rate your partners a 5 as long as you receive 2 different stationery sets and one other surprise.

Remember Writing prompts are optional.

--I don't like having to say this, but I am seeing a lot of 3s and 1s going out lately when they shouldn't be. If you check the side panel - View participant, you can see when your partner says they sent things.-- From there add 8 weeks...YES, 8 weeks. The USPS has admitted to slowing down flat rate mail and upping the costs of packages. If after 8 weeks you you still haven't received anything from your partner you are more then justified in asking your partner for a resend; if that falls through for some reason, please mark the swap a 1 with note that you will rerate if you receive something. --

I can't believe I am having to add this. If I find people are rating "ones" unfairly, 3 months after the swap was sent, are noncommunicative, etc. You will no longer be welcome in my swaps.

There has been a new development that if you go and see that your partner is already MIA or just non-responsive/inactive you can message me and let me know. Because in this situation it's two fold - I don't want them in future swaps! Because that just jips you of goodies, and it lets me know to put a 6 month limit on new people and / or check on new people for responsiveness before allowing them to be in my swaps. Thank you.

I will remove those that don't fit the requirements.

Question: Is it OK to fold the stationery in 1/2 or 1/3 to fit in an envelope, or does this need to be mailed flat?

:D 1/2 is okay, or flat. I find it difficult to write on 1/3 folds. Just added that to the info.
