Description:

Writing is a craft, so this is a "Type 3" swap --

Your general interpretation/take-off of what you'd like to share with your partner -- could be an experience you had in nature, or something about wildlife conservation, maybe something you're reminded of when you look at the stamp featured above ... this 3 cent stamp was issued in 1956 and it paid for a first-class letter then.

if you'd like to include anything else for your partner - such as a flat surprise, whether swap-themed or not - that's up to you!

A bit about the featured stamp ... USA Scott stamp no. 1077

From the Smithsonian Postal Museum online website:

"This Wildlife Conservation Issue stamp emphasizes the importance of wildlife conservation in America. Wildlife conservation is the practice of protecting endangered plant and animal species and their habitats. The stamp depicts a wild turkey in flight in a forest. The wild turkey is native to North America, found in eastern and central United States, and is a large game bird."

Somewhere around the time of the founding of America, Benjamin Franklin is reported to have advocated for the turkey to be the national bird -- but he was out-voted and the bald eagle became the official national bird.

One partner, and please be sure, along with your note, to identify the swap name and your swap-bot name
