IFM: Food Packaging Postcard (winter/holiday)

For this swap, you will send one 4 inch x 6 inch cardboard food packaging postcard to one partner.

The twist: it should be winter/holiday-themed! For this swap, holidays in November, December, or January only (including New Year's). Ideas: cereal packaging with a winter scene, cookie packaging with Santa celebrating Christmas at the beach (for southern hemisphere swappers), packaging from an advent calendar, packaging featuring a menorah, etc.

A simple tutorial for those who are new. Simply take some clean cardboard food packaging and cut it to size 4” x 6” — a standard postcard size. It should be cut cleanly with straight edges and in one piece.

I usually try to have an image be the main focus of my cut postcard, but sometimes cool lettering catches my eye. You can choose whatever you wish to be the focal point of your postcard.

Once you’ve cut out your postcard, fill out the back however you wish. Add the name of the swap somewhere on the back. Write your partner’s address, stamp it, and mail it off!
