FLL Write On letter #1

The Write On Challenge happens in the month of April. Any chance to celebrate letter writing is a great time for me, and I hope to share that with all of you! :) You do not need to purchase anything special for this swap! It's all about the letter writing! I'm going to make a series of swaps for this, one letter a week. Sign up for as many as you wish and what works out for you. (You do NOT have to participate in the Write On Challenge to sign up for this swap. That's up to you. It just prompts me to set up a few extra swaps for the month, like InCoWriMo.)

Letters should be a group standard page size & length (Standard letter length for the group (unless otherwise stated in the swap description) is 2 A5 (or about 5x8 inch) pages. 1 page = 1 side of the sheet, front and back of the sheet = 2 pages.) Extras or 'tuck ins' are NOT required, decoration is NOT required. Check your partner's profile to see what they might like in those areas. Cool? :)

So, for this swap, be sure to include the swap title and your SB ID so your partner can rate you quickly and easily. What should you write about? That's up to you! You can reply to a letter you received from them in another swap, you can talk about your plans for the day/week/month. Check out their profile - what are they interested in? Do you have any similar interests? Maybe you can recommend a song or movie they might like. (This is why having a well filled out profile comes in handy for this group!) Just be sure your letter is personal and TO your partner. So, you can't write the letter to your partner before partners are assigned for this. ;)

The purpose for the Write On Challenge is to write a letter a day for the month of April, so 30 letters in total. These swaps alone won't fill that number, of course. But you can count other letters you write to other pen pals, to family or friends, for other swaps - or you can write a letter to your childhood self or yourself in the future, things like that work out too.
