Description:

I ran this swap 2 years ago and it was a lot of fun...thought it was time to do it again.

Remember the back page of National Geographic World magazine used to have extreme close-ups and you had to figure out what they were?

You will have 3 partners and you will send each partner 3 ATC sized close-up photos. You can get 2 ATC's out of a single 4x6 photo if you try.

These should be unadultered high-quality photos cut into the 2 1/2" by 3 1/2" ATC size.

Since you will make 9 and get 9 in return it will fill a standard trading card page.

Please sign the backs and write what the object is. I like to attach the photos to a cardstock back to give it a little more support.

If you can print high quality photos at home that is okay, but I would prefer professionally printed ones. As for how close, is close..it is better to have a clear, non-fuzzy picture, than one that is super close and fuzzy....unless, of course, you're taking pictures of fur..then fuzzy is ok..;)

The swap is international-shipping shouldn't be an issue.

*****Red Tape***** I am very serious about ratings! In order to participate you must have at least a 4.7 rating. If you have a no send, please send me an email explanation. Newbies are welcome, but please email me to let me know you are serious and fill out your profile. It's not fair to do the work and not get anything in return.

Most of all...Have Fun!

This was one of my very first swaps when you ran it 2 years ago. Thanks for hosting it then & now. I'm in again!

ahhh, wishing I had a macro lens...but I'll give it a go anyway!

Do you have a macro setting on your camera, animalchatter? As I said, I would rather they were clear and a little further away than fuzzy and up really close. Have fun!

Thanks for coming back to play, beckra!

No macro setting...for my type of camera you have to buy a macro lens and if I had an extra $500 laying around I'd already have one! :)

But no worries...at 10.1 megapixels I should be able to crop it down... I promise it will be crisp and clear! :)

Sounds like a very fun swap! Always looking for an excuse to play with my macro :)
