USATC: Janis Swap

This swap is a little different from the others. When I learned that Janis (the founder of the USATC page) had passed, I knew I wanted to send a card to her family and thought about all the people she touched on this website (she hosted over 1,500 swaps!) and wouldn't it be nice if they sent a card as well:

This is Janis' husband and it is with a heavy heart that I let you know that Janis passed on March 10, 2023 from complications of an infected heart valve and a widespread infection. She is survived by me, her three sons (Grayson, Seaver and Brady), an older sister, and her devastated Mother and Father. Janis and Grayson loved receiving all of the swaps and friendships they made over the years. Janis loved this community and we have lasting memories of all of her swaps and art that she created. Our address is below if you would like to send a card or letter and I will make sure that Grayson opens them all and we will send back a piece of his mom’s art. Thanks for all of the joy that you gave to Janis, it meant a lot.
