Monthly COTM 8 inch grannies May/June

INTERNATIONAL!!!

COTM stands for "Color of the Month". This is a monthly swap with a different color theme each month.

You will send 2 8" granny squares to 1 partner. The color for this month is VARIGATED. The squares can be made from any pattern you want, but must be made 100% with one varigated yarn. Please use only 4-ply acrylic worsted weight yarn. Be sure to measure your squares carefully and make sure they are 8" give or take no more than 1/4".

DO NOT ADD A BORDER TO THE SQUARES!!! If your partner wants a border onto the squares, she will add it herself in the color that she prefers. PLEASE just make the total size of the square 8" with NO border!!! Thankyou:))

Here's the color themes for the remainder of 2009. Each month's swap will begin on the 15th of the month and sendout will be the 14th of the following month.

• June/July - Red/White & Blue
• July/Aug. - Varigated
• Aug/Sept - Earthtones (tans, creams, browns, neautrals)
• Sept/Oct - Varigated
• Oct/Nov - Autumn colors (burnt orange, rust, reds, yellows, etc.)
• Nov/Dec - Assorted Christmas colors

You don't have to join every month. You can pick and choose the months you want to swap:))

This swap is open to all members of the "Granny Squares Galore" group. But, anyone who flakes will be banned from the group. I am sure we won't have a problem here though:))
