I am having so much fun receiving cards from the first go round that I can't wait for the second round to start. Thanks, Gartenzwerg, for the opportunity.

I don't mind sending internationally, but postage is nearly 1.00 each for international now. If you do another version of this where you send 10 partners 2 ATCs or something, I'll sign up again, but with 20 different partners, I'll have to wait for the next domestic round. Thanks for organizing. I loved the last one!

I'm still getting cards from the first one, and loving it. BUT don't think I can afford postage internationally. Loved doing the first one and am disappointed I can't join this one.

I just came from the post office mailing 3 cards to 10 different players (7 in the U.S.)it cost me almost $40.00. The cards I am receiving are so great, it is well worth the effort and postage! I'm In!

This seems like a blast -- I've never made one of these before but I'm dying to start! I know you say that newbies are welcome -- I hope that means newbies to ATC making as well. :o)

So the people who stayed away because this was international lost out...of my 20 partners only 3 are Canadian and 1 from the UK...the rest are good old USA folks.

Got my first card today from VintagePaperCrafts. It used 3 different mediums and was very simple and plain. I'm working on mine.

Hi All - My 20 cards went out in today's mail. Sure hope they arrive in a timely manner. Good luck all on NOT getting the no-senders. I have two swaps where I have received nothing, several where I have received about half. So far, I haven't had the nerve to check who sends to me in this one. Just keeping fingers crossed. But, I must admit, today I dropped several swaps because I am tired being on the short end of the stick.

grandmaroro 06/15/2007 #

OH how exciting - I just checked who sends to me. I may actually get all my cards in this swap. I'll keep you posted.

I also checked the ratings, this is a pretty impressive group - mostly "5s" with only three (I think) newbies. I can hardly wait. Some of my partners have already sent their cards, too. WOO HOO......

Just something I awnted to make my partners aware of, I usually make ATC's out of fabric and this time I used apaper collage methond, and spray-coated the front of the cards with acrylic for durability. I sent a few to a firend outside the swap, and she said one of them stuck to it's wrapping and was ruined, sooooooooooo, if anyone has this problem with any cards in this swap, let me know right away, and I will replace anything that got stuck together in mailing.

WOO HOO!!! Yesterday I received my first ATC in this swap. Thank you so much Jill. It is a lovely Americana themed card. I love it.

grandmaroro 06/19/2007 #

Autumn Moon - Someday I hope to be lucky enough to be one of your swap partners when you are making fabric ATCs. I am a sewer with tons of fabric - so theme wouldn't be a problem if only I knew where to start. My most unique ATC at this time is the thinnest piece of wood covered in woodburned buttons. It was a gift from DD and is divine.

I have now received six of my cards. They are sooooo cool. No, they are beautiful and I just feel like doing Snoopy's happy dance. Thank you to: Jill, GypsySong, Kara, Dana, Sharon, and Betsy G.

I'm still owed three cards in the first Mega Swap - but on the bright side, I got SEVENTEEN. Don't know how those slackers even begin to enjoy their cards.

BetsyG 06/30/2007 #

Well, all of mine have now gone out in the mail, and I've received 7 so far. Thanks to VintagePaperCrafts,WomenTrip, AutumnMoon, Dorothy, wildcargo, Grandma Roro, and Gypsy Song for the lovely cards.

Sorry to everyone - partners or not. I am behind on this swap - lots of life's distractions in the way but I have "called in Creative" to work (don't worry, I can do this without getting fired) and am holed up "creating". My apologies to you all - on top of my busy life right now - these little things intimidate me. Strange, eh?

Hey Little Hottie - Sounds like life really threw you a curve. I, as one of your partners, am willing to wait. Sorry for the tough time you have had - really look forward to seeing your art. Take care, Joan
