AMA: Interpret a Song Mail Art

Let's create some mail art based on a song!

Pick any song you like -- any style, mood, time period, etc. It can be a current favorite, a classic, or even a song that you don't like. It can have vocals/lyrics or be instrumental. Really, any song. I mean it.

Then, create a piece of mail art based on your interpretation of the song and how you feel when you listen to it. This is pretty open-ended.

Mail art can be: a handmade postcard or notecard, an ATC, a decorated envelope containing a tuck-in (envelope should be 90% covered with your art), a journal page (two-page spread), one of those little matchbox things, an art doll, etc. Mail art is, of course, not limited to this list.

Include a note, either on the back of the postcard/inside the notecard or alongside your art, with the name of the song, musician or composer's name, and a couple sentences explaining what you made. Of course, include the swap name and your username as well.

Postcards can be mailed naked (with everything strongly secured), in a clear plastic envelope, or a regular envelope. Check your partner's profile for preferences. All envelopes should be somewhat decorated to brighten your partner's mailbox, even if they aren't the central focus of your art. ATC's should be standard shape and size with info on back.

Any medium is acceptable. No stickers, small embellishments ok.

Please rate your partner promptly and fairly upon receipt of your swap even if you do not like the song they chose.
