ZEN USA ~ Zine String Thing

First, create a zine out of one sheet of paper. There are lots of tutorials on YouTube.

Now, on the back cover, put your name and address on it.

Decorate the front cover.

Lightly draw a string on each page in pencil. There are lots of strings here:

Or, if you prefer, you can draw your own string on the pages.

You can use a string exactly as it is or adapt it to suit as your Zentangle grows. Start with the string as it’s shown then, as you go, combine sections if your tangles want to, or divide a section into smaller ones. Go with the flow and enjoy.

Pop it into an envelope and mail it to your partner.

When you receive a zine in the mail, Zentangle one page. Open the zine and put your name on the back of the page you just decorated. Then, send it on in the next round.

Keep passing it on until it's full. If you are the last person to add a design, mail the zine back to it's owner.
