Description:

We are all getting catalogs this time of year with sweet treats in them.

You will cut images from a catalog(s) and create a fun mail art envelope for your partner.

Ideas: Cookies, cakes, cupcakes, candy, holiday decorations, chocolate covered pretzels/fruit

You can collage or place your images in any fashion. Just make it fun and make your postal carrier drool! And your partner, lol.

I just thought this would be a fun way to recycle some of those catalogs.

Include your user name, swap name, and date.

Make sure your images are glued down well and use real postage.

You must belong to the International Fun Mail Group in order to join this swap.

Hi! Just a couple of questions/clarifications: - Just want to clarify what constitutes "sweet treats" - is it all food? Because you listed holiday decorations...so only holiday decorations that are sweet treat/food-themed? - Can the images be from old magazines too, or strictly only "catalogs"? - If the envelope is to be mailed naked, are we required to put anything inside (other than the swap info)? - Is there a size of envelope we should stick to? Thanks!

Hi Maggie-I included holiday decorations in the description because it is holiday related. So you may add holiday decorations like trees, lights etc… as long as you have more sweet treats than decorations. Nothing extra in the envelope is required aside from the swap info. You may use old magazines too as long as the items fit the description. Hope this helps.

Thanks so much for the clarification, Kaci, that all makes perfect sense! What about the size of the envelope? Is there a minimum or maximum requirement?
