Summer is almost here! Let's do a fast and easy summer matchbox swap in honor of the season. We will each only have one partner to whom we will send a 32-count matchbox. (This size is approximately 1.5 x 2 x .5 inches - I have a template for creating matchboxes from scratch here.) The matchbox should be decorated in a sunny summer style and filled with any tiny trinket that you think reflects summer time. I like to fill my matchboxes with ribbon, buttons, brads, stickers, and other little embellishments. Anything goes as long as it is fun and summery! Anyone with a 4.8 rating, or higher, is welcome in this swap. It is international. It is open to new users, but I will ban anyone who looks fishy. Happy swapping!

Sorry for the new question, but it says 32-count matchbox, I just wanted to clarify this. Should the box have 32 items? Thank you in advance.

junieandj: 32 count means a matchbox which holds 32 matches. It gives you the idea of the size. Some swaps are for smaller size matchboxes. Hope this helps!

Hi all,

Partners have now been assigned! We have three newer users joining us. I hope everyone has fun! 31-count refers to the matchbox size - it is approx. 2 x 1.5 x .5 inches. You do not have to have 32 items inside the box. I ship my matchboxes in a bubble envelope wrapped in tissue. I have not had complaints about them arriving smooshed...

I do always angel my matchbox swaps, so let me know if you do not receive a few weeks after the send date.

Hi all,

The send deadline is now passed and it looks like two participants have not yet marked the swap as sent. I do angel my swaps, so in a few weeks let me know if you have not received.
