Description:
'Klederdracht' is a Dutch word, I don't know the English word for it but I think when I say 'Native Costume' you can imagine what I mean. Or see the picture above from a Dutch girl in Volendammer costume. Create 2 ATC's for 3 people. On the ATC must be some sort of klederdracht, for instance, here on Holland we are 'famous' for our clogs. It can be a picture of people in klederdracht but it can also be a detail of klederdracht. It must be klederdracht from the country where you live! I hope that a lot of people from many places around the world will participate, so that we all receive very different artwork! Everyone with a rating of 4.5 can participate and newbies are welcome if I can read your profile.

am i right in thinking we can do anything as long as its our country related. so e,g, anything to do with united kingdom,

Hollie, if you live in the UK it is ok, if you live for example in Spain, you must make something to do with Spanish costumes.

what if I we to use an actual picture? My daughte dresses in "typical" USA teen clothes (and is very photogenic, I must say!) Since we really don't have anything particular here as "typical dress) unless you count Native American, or any of the other cultures that represent my country, that maybe all I can get.... but now that I think of it, an ATC with someone in Native American clothing may ba a good idea. It would really represent the original people's of this country!
Let me think about joining... It sound easy enough, I don't want to get overloaded with swaps again though! susi
