P.S. I LET EVERYONE FROM THE OTHER SWAP VOTE ON WEATHER TO HAVE MORE PARTNERS OR NOT. THE MAJORITY IS 2 PARTNERS.

NOW SOME PUT UP A GOOD QUESTION AS TO ADD MORE SQUARES.

WHO WOULD LIKE TO MAKE IT 15 SQUARES OR LEAVE IT AT 10? YOU CAN EITHER POST HERE OR MESSAGE ME PRIVATELY. BUT REMEMBER EACH PIECE HAS TO BE A DIFFERENT COLOR OR PATTERN. I PERSONALLY HAD TO GO OUT A COUPLE TIMES AND BUY FABRIC TO GET THE 10 SEPERATE COLORS. LOL WHICH IS NO PROBLEM FOR ME BUT IT MIGHT BE FOR SOME.

A GOOD WAY TO DO THIS IS TO CHECK THE SCRAP BINS BUT YOU ALSO HAVE TO MAKE SURE IT'S 100% COTTON. I KNOW AT WALMART THEY DO NOT MARK THIS. JOANN'S DOES THOUGH.

I KNOW WHEN I SEND I ALWAYS SEND EXTRAS SO IT DOESN'T MATTER TO ME.

HAPPY SWAPPING

I HAVE CHANGED UP THE RULES A LITTLE ILLIMIATING NEWBIES. WE HAVE A GREAT GROUP OF GALS PLAYING AND WANT TO PROTECT YOU ALL AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.

Well, here's my opinion about changing the swap. If we have to send only one of each fabric, I think we should keep it at 10 charms. But, if we could send 2 of each, but no more than 2 of each, I would LOVE to see us swap as many as 20 charms to 2 partners:))

If the swap is changed to send 15 different fabrics, I may not be able to participate. I have had to go out and buy fabric for each of these swaps and it can get pretty costly.

I think @bettflow09 made a pretty good point. If they all have to be different keep it at 10 charms please.

We been doing these swaps through our quilt guild, and so I have accumulated quite a stash of various colors over the past few years. Which is really cool. What I would suggest is that we leave it at 10 DIFFERENT fabrics, but maybe since people are going to the store to buy FQs anyway, (and a FQ makes 12 5" charms) we consider increasing the total number of charm squares to be sent. I was part of a continuing swap this past year by @jvcscoutmom where we sent 20 charm squares, but you could have some duplicates (which is also nice since I personally hate to use a piece of fabric if it is the only piece of it that I have left-weird huh.....) Just my thoughts.

I am with beancounter... I never want to use the 'last' piece of a fabric... So multiple of the same pattern are good for thay...

PS for the 'less popular' colors, like orange, I would have to go buy fabrics too, and there are not as many to choose from as say blue, green, or pink... so I vote for 10 on the 'hard' colors...

I'm game for what the majority decides. I love these 5" charms and started a rail fence quilt this past weekend with a large batch I've collect via swap-bot. count me in

I think we should leave it at 10 different prints.
