My dear husband often says I am going to hell in a handbasket. Usually this is after I say something extremely inappropriate. But if I am going hell, I wanna be comfy and entertained. And I know I ain't going alone! For this swap you will send your partner things she could use as she travels in her handbasket. I have no idea what a handbasket is, so feel free to elaborate or include one. Your package must include: 1) At least 5 profile based items - handmade, store bought, whatever. No need to get all spendy if you don't have the money - this time it is definitely the thought that counts. Maybe your partner likes to read so a book, maybe a little pillow for the ride, or one of those little hand fans to keep cool. There probably isn't any glitter in hell, so you may want to make sure to make things sparkly. Be creative - remember the theme is hell in a handbasket - so what will she need. 2) This is the most important part - include a story of when you said or did something that would cause someone to say...ooh you are sooo going to hell in a handbasket. If, like Crap Suey, you are too nice to have done something like that - then at least a time when you heard something so bad. Some of us may have so many to chose from that we can write our own book - pick the most recent or funniest. Lots of time to sign-up and the due Due due date is Sept 12 (which just happens to be someone's birthday... hee hee MINE)

I am glad you left a long send date so I can think of what my story will be. Is I OK to make one up? Wow I just thought of one and I know I will never remember it.

My halo is glowing even brighter today, can you feel its warmth? I have now evidently achieved residence in the "pleroma".

I think a hand basket is what they use in Iraq et. al when someone steals and they cut off their hand for stealing, then they send the bloody thing home to the relatives in a hand basket. Or like when the bad guy needs the finger print of the scientist to access the door to the lab that holds the antimatter that will give him the power to rule the world, but the scientist is like handcuffed to the pipes down the hall, so the bad guy has to cut off the scientist's hand to use his fingerprints, then the other scientists who discover the hand laying next to the security pad the next morning send the bloody thing home to the relatives in a hand basket.

I can't believe Linda would have to make up a story - but go ahead - tell about your "friend" who once said something inappropriate. And Sue - not a gory handbasket - I was thinking a small basket one carries in her hand as she skips merrily about in fields of lavender
