Book Thong Swap ~ Sender's Choice

Here is our second bookmark swap! It’s inspired by a swap hosted by @Hanane I’m PMd her and have her permission to copy her swap within this group since hers is US only and I want to make it international since it shouldn’t weight too much. Thanks @Hanane !!

You will make 1 thong for two partners!

Book thongs are bookmarks that look like jewelry. They normally have a very thin part that goes inside the book (thus the "thong" name) and are beaded or otherwise embellished on the ends. This gives them some weight as well as beauty.

Making the book thong: Cut a piece of cord that will be long enough to fit inside the book and still have ends that are long enough to bead. The cord can be hemp, leather, vinyl or waxed linen, Ribbon etc. It should be sturdy but thin. Add beads or charms to both ends.

Make it pretty, Make it something you would like to receive yourself.

This is Senders Choice. Just make it something you would be proud to receive (but looking through your partners profile might be a good idea)!

Ratings:

· Please rate your partner as soon as package is received;

· 5s should be given out based on whether the package meets the swap requirements, NOT whether you like it or not;

· Hearts could be given out to those who do an excellent job, or who go above and beyond (ex: profile surprise).

Requirements:

· You must have a rating of 4.8+ with no recent no sends;

· No unexplained 1's or 3's or you will be banned;

· Newbies allowed with 2 rated mailed swaps and a WELL filled out profile.

I will check profiles before assigning partners and I will ban anyone who seems fishy (even late senders in my previous swaps). I might sound harsh but I’m trying to avoid unpleasant experience and swap deadline is usually long enough to prepare package.
