Description:

I haven't seen any like this one! So EASY! Use those scraps! The idea is to learn a new mini book technique that we may not already know. So get really crafty in your ideas! You will have 3 partners, and make 3 identical mini books, send one to each of your partners. Include the directions of how to make it, so your partner doesn't have to tear it apart to learn how to make it. That's it! Try to use coordinating papers / cardstock. This is senders choice of colors, remember we are using our scraps. Leave the insides of the books blank so your partner can finish it. Although if you wanted to embellish the front cover or include coordinating embellishments, that would be okay and may earn you a heart, but it is not required. Profiles will be checked over before assigning partners, newbies welcome.

How big should the mini book measure?

Notabelle 08/ 8/2009 #

I'd love to join this swap but I'm a little unsure if my idea of a mini book is the same as yours. :-) Do you have an example you could point me to? Or just try and describe it? Thanks!

I have the same trouble as Notabelle....It sounds interesting, but I have no idea what exactly is wanted....

when i think of a mini book i think of the scrapbooks that open up into a star and those measure about 5x5, is that what you are thinking?

I have the same questions as above . I made some very plain ready to decorate ATC size mini books........

Mini book is any book that is smaller than 6x6, but big enough to add a picture, title or journaling, and a embellishment. For example to get you started on the right track ~ Accordion books, Squash books, Matchbooks, Gatefold books, Star Books, Acrylic books, Envelope book, Tag Book, Key Tag Book, just use your imagination, and your bag of tricks! I hope that helped clear some of the questions. Most important make something that you would love to receive, and HAVE FUN!! Lois

What about a mini ATC book? I have a great pattern for them?

namesarefun 08/12/2009 #

Sure! So long as it meets the requirements ~ a place for a photo, Journaling or title, and a embellishment. Sounds like fun!
