This is an altered, international version of the "Ahhh! A Monster Swap !!" [edited 23rd June: the Ahh! swap seems to have gone. I did ask permission to run an international version from the co-ordinator before setting up this swap.] Each participant will have 2 partners and should send to each of them: * one handmade monster - stuffy/ amigurumi/ any other medium - doesn't have to be big but it must be 3-dimensional! * one monster finger-puppet (handmade or bought) * one (handmade or bought) monster-themed paper-based item such as a notecard or ATC Here are some links which may be of assistance: flickr amigurumi group; wikipedia article on amigurumi This swap will be open to swappers from any country, with a rating of 4.5 or above - or contact me before signing up if there's a good reason for rating difficulties. Unrated swappers are welcome, but please contact me when you sign up. After partners are assigned I will remove swappers not meeting these requirements. This is my first swap as a host so if i'm doing anything wrong, please message me! EDITED TO ADD: it would be fantastic if as many as possible of us took pictures and added to the slide show here, or to flickr with a link in the comments. I'd love to see what everyone makes :)

I don't think the monster I would want to swap, would be appreciated!!!! I did make her, but she needs feeding and clothed!!!!!!!!

Would a monster made out of polyclay be ok for the 3-dimensional one, or must she be a stuffie or amigurumi?

That's fine, yep. I looked at your website and they're wonderful!I actually came to the page to edit the swap to say 'any medium'.

On another point, does anybody mind if this swaps stays with just the four of us? There're enough of us to do the partnering so it doesn't make much difference in the end does it? :)

I moved the deadline to the thirtieth. I've had a really bad weekend and haven't got anything finished, and it looks like nobody else has sent yet either so i thought you'd maybe appreciate the extra time! ;)

Hahahh. Nobody's clicked 'sent'! Including me! Shall i extend the deadline? I'll give it a go shall i? I'm nearly done with mine & hope to send tomorrow (unless there's another postal strike issue).
