Description:

The photocopy machine can do much more than just duplicate a document - it is an incredible tool for creating art on the cheap. Collage, image enhacement & degredation, duplication & repetion are all familiar photocopy art techniques. This swap aims to encourage you to play with a photocopy machine in your artistic endevors and see what you can come up with.

This is more or less a free-for-all for experiments with image creation and manipulation with a handful of stipulations:

  • Final product should 8.5"x11"

  • Black and white photocopies only, but feel free to enhance your work with color (paint, ink, etc)

  • Each participant will send one finished piece of photocopy art to each of his/her three (3) swap partners. Please try to send a different piece to each partner...

  • You need not attempt to tailor your work to your swap partners' interests but feel free to use that as inspiration if you need a jumping-off place to get started

  • New swappers are welcome to participate but please contact me in advance of signing up.

  • This swap is open to US & International participants.
