I would have done this one if I knew I was sending a card to someone in the uk, but more than likely I would have had to post to someone abroad and the signup date it too late for delivery before christmas.

I knew there would be people with this opinion. That's okay. Haven't you ever received a card after Christmas? They say it's acceptable even to send greeting cards into January. But, FYI, this is the reason I chose "Snowman" and "Snow Scene" for the last couple of challenges. These things apply to January, also.

How to Send After-Christmas Cards By Phyllis Benson eHow Contributing Writer

"After Christmas and into mid-January is a time to reflect on friends and stay in touch. The pause between the old and new year offers the perfect opportunity to remind personal acquaintances or business associates that you value them. If you did not send Christmas cards and want to acknowledge those who brightened your home with holiday cards, make a list for a post-holiday mailing."

Furthermore, receiving cards is always fun ; )

While my partner has confirmed via pm that she received my swap, she says she has been too ill to rate me - although she has logged on here several times since. I will archive this swap and have placed a note on my profile that she owes me a rating.
