THIS THRIFT STORE JUNKIE LOVES TO LOOK AT ALL THE LITTLE SHOES (BABY) AND WAS THINKING THEY COULD BE ALTERED INTO SOMETHING REALLY CUTE. BY ADDING LACE AND MAYBE PAINTING THEM OR WHAT EVER. THEN ADDING MAYBE FLOWERS USING THE SHOE AS A PLANTER. THE IDEAS CAN BE ENDLESS. I SAW SOME YEARS AGO THAT WERE "AGED" AND HAD BABY'S BREATH FLOWERS ... IT WAS CUTE SINCE SHOES COME IN PAIRS, YOU WILL HAVE TWO PARTNERS FOR THIS SWAP. PLEASE USE A BABY SHOE TO KEEP IT SMALL AND EASIER TO SHIP. SINCE THIS IS A GROUP SWAP, I DON'T THINK WE HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT FLAKERS, BUT THE STANDARD RULES APPLY. RATING 4.8.. FIVE SNAIL MAIL SWAPS AND NO 3'S OR 1'S IN THE PAST 6 MONTHS. This is a really cute idea. It is on my watch list. I am not going to tell my hubby and the next time we go to the thrift shop I am going to head for the baby section and watch him fall on the floor. LOL!

I did a different shoe swap last year (on my flickr) and my partner sent hers without good packaging, so it was banging around in this huge box!

I'm so excited to be part of this swap, as I'm currently eight mos. pregnant with my first (a boy), so this particular medium (baby shoes) is really speaking to me atm! =) this is going to be fun! i already have some baby shoes to work with too...

I"m mailing off my two shoes tomorrow, i've already communicated with both people! i hope to add pics of the shoes i made to my Flikr, trying to straighten out my Flikr acct. first, cause i forgot password :( anyways, this was a fun swap!!!! i'm into all things baby atm...
