Description:

Who doesn't love buttons?

What I have in mind here, is we take a medium size baby food jar (4 oz) and fill it with buttons. Any jar is fine as long as it is at least 4 oz.

At least 10 of the buttons in the jar should be novelty buttons.

Then you decorate your jar, you can use ribbon, stickers, beads, more buttons, anything you think of really, just make it pretty to look at.

This will be USA only due to shipping. If anyone is interested in opening an International one that is fine with me.

This swap is sender's choice, so that swappers may start making their button jar before the deadline if they would like.

Please No 1's. And no unexplained 3's. I will ban anyone who I think will not send in a timely manner.

You must have sent and been rated for 5 (Type 3) craft swaps to join this swap.

If you have any questions please let me know on this thread, or PM me

Same here!

What is a novelty button, specifically? Are they fun and functional? Or just different? Do vintage buttons count?

Turtle17 01/ 5/2010 #

@malora I think of a novelty button as shaped. Looks like something other than a circle. Although I presonally would love to receive antique buttons. I don't think they would count as the novelty ones. I hope you decide to join :)

I have some jars that are not baby food. As long as it is at least 4 oz in size, may I use it?

Turtle17 01/ 7/2010 #

That is perfectly fine VJP. I should of put that in there. Any jar is fine as long as its 4 oz.

Turtle17 01/ 8/2010 #

I should have said at least 4 oz. :)
