Description:

I got the idea from this swap http://www.swap-bot.com/swap/show/47415#comment-266556 but our host was partially suspended. Since we loved the idea, however, I wanted to make it possible. If she does come back, I'll return the idea to her. But I don't want to count on that... You know, just in case.

So we'll be doing a card swap every week of 2010 (I think that math is right?), and sending out on Mondays. If you want to get a whole deck, you should join all swaps!

How it works: We'll each buy a regular-sized poker deck (which, lucky for us, are 3.5x2.5) and decorate them however we want. The only rule is that the corner suit and number must be left uncovered. If you decide to use watercolors or something that wouldn't work on coated cards, I ask that you print out a card and attach one of the original corners.

The original swap had one partner, but since this is so awesome an idea, and I'm a little bit greedy, I want to have two decks instead of one. So I'm assigning two partners.

4.5 rating required, newbies must contact me first. I will angel if necessary.

Thanks <3

Please dont send a photo copied card. Most cards will receive just about any medium. the sanding works as well as polish remover. the point is that it is an altered PLAYING CARD.

Also, don't be afraid of signing up if you've missed cards before. I'll post "make-up" swaps later on the year.

this may be a silly question, but just to make sure, we are NOT supposed to manipulate the back of the card, right? Just the front leaving the suit and number on the top left side visible correct?

I usually sign and number my cards in the back, so I added a little tag there (because sharpies wouldn't work! =<). Other than that, I left the back as is.
