Hi Everyone,

Today January 4, 2010 is the one year anniversary of the Addicted to Stamping group. I did not start the group but I hope we can all keep it going. So let's start the year with a quick and easy swap.

Participants

  • Open to all members of the Addicted to Stamping group who are in good standings
  • Members who become partially or fully suspended before partners are assigned will be removed from the swap

Details

  • You will have 2 partners
  • You will send each partner 12 stamped images
  • You will send each partner 1 note explaining why you chose those images
  • You must include at least 6 different images
  • Images must be 2 inches by 2 inches (5.08 centimeters by 5.08 centimeters) or larger
  • Images must be clearly stamped on neutral paper or card stock (white, gray, or beige)
  • Images must be stamped in neutral colors (black, grey, brown, or sepia)
  • Images are the senders choice (but please peek at your partners profile and try to avoid images they clearly do not like)
  • Images may be embossed but should not be colored in
  • Images must have some space around them so that recipients can cut them out if necessary
  • Whenever possible please write the name of the stamp and the manufacturer on the back of the sheet in case your partner wants to try to find it

What else?

  • Feel free to post question and suggestion for improvement here prior to the sign-up deadline.

Hurray!! A swap I feel like I can take part in without overly stressing myself - and an excuse to ink up some new Christmas rubbah!

What does this mean? Images must have at space around them so that recipients can cut them out if necessary. The first part of this...something is missing, I think... Images must have at space?

I'll fix that now. The "at" should not be there.

I was trying to say leave some space so that partners can cut out or trim the image as needed for their projects.

I'm tempted to start stamping images now, but I'd really like to stamp stuff my partner(s) really like, so I don't know what to do! ACK!

I've started mine. I plan to do them before partners are assigned. Then once I check my partners profile replace any that he or she may not like

There is almost 75 swappers in this group and we only have 11 swappers for this swap. What a shame.

Not everyone has the interest, time, money, and/or supplies for every swap.

That's okay!

I'd rather a few who really want to do it sign up than a bunch who do not have the interest, time, money, and/or supplies and wind up disappointing their partner.
